We're not a clinic. We pass your enquiry to one Irish eye clinic, and they contact you to arrange an assessment.
What Laser Eye Correction is
Laser Eye Correction is an independent guide and an introduction service, run by Bartlomiej Standa, trading as Elevate Ireland. The guides explain the treatments, what they cost in Ireland, how recovery goes and what can go wrong, in plain English. We do not give medical advice, we do not examine anyone and we do not operate. Only an eye surgeon who has assessed your eyes can tell you whether a treatment suits you.
What happens when you send an enquiry
- You answer a few questions and see our result and our price guide. Nothing is sent at that point.
- If you want an assessment, you add your first name and mobile number and tick the consent box. Only then does your enquiry reach us.
- We pass it to one eye clinic. The clinic contacts you to arrange an assessment.
- You decide whether to book. Nothing is booked, and nothing is paid, until you say yes to the clinic directly.
What we look for in a clinic
- Surgery by a consultant eye surgeon (ophthalmic surgeon) on the Specialist Division of the Medical Council's register, in ophthalmology
- A full assessment before any booking: scans of the cornea, its thickness, the tear film and the back of the eye, with the surgeon who will operate seeing you before the day
- A written, all-in price before any deposit, saying what aftercare visits, drops and any top-up treatment it includes
- Time to think: no pressure to book on the day of the assessment, and a deposit you can get back if you change your mind
- A named doctor or team you can contact after surgery if something worries you, day or night
We do not take payment from you. The clinic we work with pays us for introductions, which is how this site is funded. That does not change the prices or the advice on these pages, and you never pay more for coming through us.
About our prices
Prices on this site are our own price guide: honest ranges built from real Irish private prices, per eye unless we say both eyes. They are a guide, not a quote. Official facts (Revenue's rules on tax relief, the Medical Council register, CSO census figures) are stated as those bodies give them.
